Dahlia is an active business coach and consultant with expertise in judgement and decision-making honed from over 15 years experience gained in the investment banking, trading and investment management industries. She currently coaches across a variety of sectors focused on professionals in highly demanding or extreme environments.
Previously, Dahlia qualified as a chartered accountant and then held senior front office roles, as the principal trader in several hedge funds. This provided the opportunity to understand the importance of self-management, flexibility and resourcefulness while developing the key skills that deliver successful outcomes while working in extremely time sensitive and pressured situations. Her interest in coaching advanced through her knowledge of these complex working environments and her keen observation of the patterns of interaction and communication in professional life.
Dahlia is a graduate of the Meyler Campbell Master Business Coaching programme, which is accredited by the Association for Coaching and is awarded the EQA conferred by the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council). She is accredited by the WABC (Worldwide Association of Business Coaches). She is an affiliate member of the British Psychological Society and a member of the Special Group for Coaching Psychology. She is also qualified in the administration of several psychometric and evaluation tools. As an addition to her degree at the University of Cambridge, Dahlia studied at the Judge Business School (CJBS), focusing on Organisational Behaviour, Finance and Strategic Management.
Dahlia’s areas of research and practice interest include decision making in extreme environments, career transition, stepping up to leadership and strategic business planning in complex markets.
Dahlia works in partnership with her clients on their goals, by applying her considerable experience of corporate management structures and personal development programmes; helping them to identify objectives, explore and evaluate options, and implement changes over realistic timeframes designed to positively impact their professional life. Her approach is dynamic and tailored using a broad base of psychological and coaching tools. Dahlia works to help her clients develop clarity and confidence in the face of exceptional challenges and she is continually inspired by their capacity to craft solutions for progress.
